Tynker

This part is plain off topic:

Hey all, some of you may remember me from only about a few months back. I've recently been doing all of my programming in javascript, so I kinda lost interest in scratch  tongue . Recently though, a project in tech lit reminded me that this site and you guys still exist, so I went to check on how things are.
I really love the changes that occurred to Scratch 2.0 while I was gone, especially the change of the user id block to the username block. I've also been thinking back, and realized that Scratch, the language, and the community, has really impacted my life, and I have to thank everyone here for that.
The programming language really shaped how I thought logically in programming, and not just programming, in life too. I've seen myself solving life problems by looking at it as if I were looking at lines of code, and it has really improved my decisions in life. I have to thank the community also for helping me become social again. I used to be a kid who had practically no friends and just hung around on his computer all day, but after scratch, I realized that I can do so much more. I have to thank the community for helping me realize that, and it has made my life all the more happier.
Saying that, I realize that I want to give back to this awesome community. I don't know what, how or when yet, so I'd really appreciate it if you comment on one of my projects any idea you have (it doesn't have to use the scratch program either).

Anyways, back on topic:
I've been focusing a little more on social media, mainly google+ (facebook fans, please keep the discussion to another place), and I came across something that I think, is pretty cool. The article described something called Tynker that sounded rather close to Scratch. I checked out the website, and I'm sorry to all those people trying to develop a JSscratch, these people beat you to it. Tynker's a web based program, with programming that is advertised similarly to scratch, it even says that it's based off of scratch in the About section. Unfortunately, even though it's a free program, they don't allow people to test around with it and see what it features and how it works. Anyways, I wanted to hear your guys' thoughts about this. If you guys think this is a wonderful tool for classrooms to help kids start programming, or a complete rip off of scratch.
