Heard of it after school. It disappoints me to see people do these things. It almost seems like there's a pattern. It's been 4 months since Sandy hook, not sure how many since the movie theater one. If only there was a way to evade this.

Who knows what's wrong with those people. I don't see why they'd kill themselves for the sake of killing COMPLETELY INNOCENT BYPASSERS. These things are just the result of way too many bad influences out there. It's just... Messed up.
some terrorist attacks are the result of people trying to get back at america by doing the same things we've done to them
That is a very interesting concept. We come in and try to fix there government but end up killing lots of innocent people, and UN just calls it simple war. However, if they retaliate and attak us and our innocent people the UN calls it TERRORISM. It's messed up, superpower countries get to come in and lay wast to every last square foot of land in a third world country, but third world counties cant do it back. It's like an abusive parent.
war is illegal with the un, and it has been since wwii
it's america that calls it war, and america that calls it terrorism

technically they're not even wars as we haven't formally declared war in those situations

This must be really devastating for the families of the dead and injured people. Let us hope something like like doesn't happen again.

This is sort of terrifying. No blood or gore or anything but it captures the first moments of panic after the bomb went off
Also, as it turns out the man who did this used bombs that explode outwards and planted them at ground level. He didn't want people to die. He wanted them to suffer. He is sick.

yep. there's a reason only two died initially and hundreds were injured

For example, consider Northern Ireland.
I've been there, and safe to say - nothing bad happens there anymore.
It's really sad about the stories of the people who died - there was a young boy who got killed - amongst many other people. The problem is, will the same happen in the London Marathon?

We don't know who did it.

I heard someone tried to send the president poison, and the senate. anyone think there is a connection between this and the Boston attacks?
I hope all of the people in Boston have not lost hope. And I am crossing my fingers that the people in the London Marathon are safe.

There is no confirmed connection between the bombing and the letters, although the letters are related. As far as I know there were only two so far, one to Obama and another to a Mississippi senator, both laced with the dangerous poison Ricin.

I kind of agree with banana500, terrorists will always find new ways of getting past security; I don't think terrorism will ever be gone
Anyway this is pretty sad, although it could have been a lot worse ("only" three people died, obviously that's three too much but compared to what could have happened then it's pretty lucky [TO CLARIFY: I'm not saying it's acceptable that three people died, before anyone takes offense, just that it could have been a whole lot worse]). Hopefully everyone that was injured/affected by it gets better soon and can live a normal life

*3. The JFK Library was also bombed.
Also, there has been a picture going around on Twitter showing a small girl running with the caption "Retweet for respect". It says that the girl died running for the Sandy Hook kids. This didn't happen, no 8 year-old girl died.

For some reason it looked really awkward to me typing my username in a post but okay.
Yeah, terrorism cannot be stopped by such simple means, people are like "Hurr durr oh there was a school shooting? BAN GUNS". That's not going to work. Personally I am not in support of that idea but that's another story. Even if you outlaw it that's not going to help anything, people will still do it, why even bother.

but production would (for the most part) stop, and the more guns that would be collected over time the less there would be in circulation
