Now, who mentioned Octodad? A game about having noodly limbs! Who would've thought? And a commercial sequel is coming as well, subtitled "Deadliest Catch". You guys seen the trailer? LOLs guaranteed.  tongue

To sum up LIMBO, it is a game with a dark visual style and plenty of gruesome scenes, but probably has some sort of deep meaning or metaphor. I've been Let's Playing it with a friend recently, and I can definitely say that it is a fairly dark game for a platformer with no speech.

It however is definitely worth a play if you don't mind those things, the puzzles are interesting and the ambiance is great.

Which is why I said probably. It might not, but the game just seems to have the sort of thing...

Maybe because the art style reminds of Shadow of the Colossus?

Yes, yes, yes, I know about LIMBO, I've just never played it before. Anywho, my point is that we probably shouldn't discuss a game where a little boy gets beheaded by a bear trap on an "all-ages" forum. Soz.  tongue

But anyway, thriving topic is thriving.  big_smile

Good point. Has anyone mentioned Braid yet? That game is fun, and the art is beautiful, but I really like how it has a hidden message.

Actually, my brother does own a PS3 and both of those games, it just that he is at college and he took it with him.

Re: Indie Games

Am I the only one here who has played Super Meat Boy? The game is really, really hard, but the controls are some of the best I've ever seen in a game, so if you die, it is YOUR fault.

Oh my goodness, I didn't know you play CC! I'll join.

I love Castle Crashers so much, especially with four people. Doing an LP with three other friends? Gold.

EDIT: I'll probably be able to play, but no guarantees.

So you have it on PC, right? Because obviously that's the only way we can play together.

But anyway, -YES YES YES YES THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT THANK YOU SO MUCH- when's good for you? I'm free tomorrow... (Tuesday)

That probably won't work, Wednesday maybe?

Also, dare I try recording? I guess if it starts to REALLY lag I can stop.

Has anybody played Fez? I hear it is good, and I'll be able to play it soon with a PC release on May 1st.
