It would be nice to be able to access fonts that are on the computer, not just the scratch-provided fonts (which I find rather terrible).
I realize that this would require copying the individual characters into the .sb file (as is done in PDF files, for example), but fairly crude bit-map representations would probably suffice, as there is no need for high-resolution fonts. (Editing the text would require having the full font available, which would interfere somewhat with sharing.)
