MagixZone is now started working on a project called 'Theme Hospital'
A lot of people know it, but if you don't...
Theme Hospital is one of the best Hospital Simulators ever!
Take care of patients with diseases called 'Bloaty Head', 'Invisibility', 'Sleeping Illness', 'Uncommon Cold', etc!
2 new diseases may be added into the Scratch version, you can say what 2 diseases you'd like in the game. (DON'T SAY ANY REAL DISEASES, IF IT WAS IN THE GAME, IT WOULD BE VERY UPSETTING FOR A LOT OF PLAYERS!)
THERE WILL NOT BE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Violence
- Blood
- Gore
- Disturbing References (Something you may know in a certain education)
These may not be in the game:
- Announcements (Could add them, but i think a lot of players may find then annoying.)
- Emergencies (i would add them, but too many scripts involved, i only want a lot of scripts, but not too many.)
There may be some sounds that Players may not feel okay hearing:
- Toilets
- Vomit
You can disable these sounds in the game if you wish.
once we feel that enough people can help, we will begin right away, if not, the game will be delayed quite a lot.

This game WILL be made in Scratch 2.0, since Scratch 1.4 doesn't allow more than 10MB.
The game was originally intended to be in Japanese. We are now setting the default language to English, other languages may be added if the game is popular enough.
1 Member (Blayer98 only): Game is never made, and any work on the Game is deleted.
5 Members: Game is worked on right away, but other projects are also worked on too.
10 Members: Game is worked on, ignoring all other projects.
15 Members: Game has a beta released, Scratchers can sign up to become a beta tester.

Why you want to help: Because I was making my own anyway so I have a lot of resources to start on!
Help with what: Game design, graphics, sound-finding and disease creating. Or, just everything!
Have you been in a collab before: A few.
(OPTIONAL) Any Other Information: I'll try my best to squeeze this in with G:Cities and exam revision!

You're in! i have all sound effects thanks to Nova Extractor (I have the game on Windows 7), I'm getting the music, so don't worry about that.
you'll be featured in the credits too!

If you like we could use mine as a template, of course we can replace the graphics later, but it will give us something to start on. I've just uploaded it, cant believe how out dated the graphics are already!

no offence, but i am trying to get the game to be EXACTLY as the original Theme Hospital game.
well, only a few differences.

Oh, well that's gonna be near impossible. If that's what you're doing then I'm not sure if I want that much of a challenge, I thought you meant a spin-off (which is what I was doing with Mega Hospital Inc) not an exact remake. Why bother when CorsixTh is doing a fine job, in fact I was playing it earlier tonight, it runs great on windows 7.

Not going to help with the production of the game i'm making then?

If it's a spin off then yes, but if it's an exact copy then no. The graphics will look awful when shrunk down to the 480 by 360 screen, the isometric graphics will have to be refreshed every time a person moves and I'm not sure if scratch 2 could handle such processing power. The most people we would be able to have on screen is about 10, before it slows down. This includes animating staff, machines, the interface, plus the background statistics like time, cash income and other stuff. Fair enough a spin off would need it to, but we could make it ideal for scratch.
Anyway, I won't stop you. Good luck, and I'll let you get on with the remake if thats what you're still going for.

We will keep on accepting new members until Wednesday, by that time if we don't have enough members, the game will take a very long time to make, if only 1 member is in the collab, (Me only) i will not make the game at all and this game will never be in production by me again.

I'm guessing you're sticking with remake, okay!

of course we are.
unless you want to help, you're off the collab.
well you keep saying "we", but I don't think many people we be able to join such an ambitious project... still you could try it yourself if you really want it to be made. Just take everything and find a simpler solution to it. For example, if staff priorities are too complicated just replace them with tick boxes for what jobs they do.
