Why would you like to review? I dunno, it's kinda fun, but it would help to have a whole team to be with; it's a little overwhelming to have several reviews that needto be done.
What projects do you specialize in (games, animations, etc.)? Animations mostly
Do you have any relevant experience? I have had a review thread called Starscream's Reviews, but I haven't reviewed for a while now.
What's your time zone? Classified intel, soldier.

Re: The REVIEW Company- the first review team on Scratch!

I'm not too sure why graphics are rated out of 20, and how that differs from quality, which also includes "look". Before you start asking reviewers to review, I think that you need to review your review system. For example, I once made a review team like this which had the intention of running forever (it did not last long) and it was only with a very detailed plan of how I wanted each review to be written, that finally each review was balanced.

As you can see by my template, each category has a long and detailed paragraph with all of the information.

Game Name

"Game description"

Game Design /10
""On this line talk about addictiveness, and whether the game design wanted to keep you playing as well as how much you enjoyed how fun it was. If it is a platformer which uses unique levels such as using unique traps or items to collect that would come under Originality.

Originality /10
""On this line talk about whether the idea is original. Just because you've never heard of something like it does not make it original, as when you look into it the game could be pretty much a copy of many other games. Also, a platformer may not sound different, but if it has special characters and the levels have unique obstacles which do not appear often then why not give them extra points for turning an old idea into something fresh? So sometimes a game maybe an old idea that's been made fresh or a new idea that was inspired from other games.

Ease Of Use /5
""On this line talk about the usefulness (or lack of) tutorials, as well as controls and hand comfort during games. Did you have to stay in a weird position to play the game?

Difficulty Balance /5
""On this line talk about whether it was too hard, too easy or if there were options to change the difficulty. Remember, even if there are options does not mean it gets a perfect score. An easy option may still be too hard and complicated and the expert option may still be easy. Also, if there's only two options and there is a huge leap between the two, perhaps a middle one would be an improvement to offer. If a game has been designed well enough, it should not need any options at all. If the game is hard to work out or use, the Ease of Use score may affect this score as well, so keep that in mind.

Graphics /5
""On this line talk about how good it looks and how smooth or still the animations were.

Sound /5
""On this line talk about whether the music was good, too repetitive or even non-existent. Also, if the game has sound effects than does it have enough? Are each of good quality?

Firing Round /10
Reliability /2
0 (Very Glitchy) 1 (A few glitches) 2 (Hardly any glitches)
Game Length /2
0 (Too Short) 1 (Descent Length) 2 (Long lasting or endless)
Game Pace /2
0 (Very slow or too long for it's own sake) 1 (Quite engrossing) 2 (Very well paced and fun)
Replay Value /2
0 (Would never replay/ did not want to finish it the first time) 1 (Might replay) 2 (Too good to stop!)
Programming /2
0 (Simple to make) 1 (Fairly advanced) 2 (It was very complex)

Overall Experience /50
""On this line talk about general points, and perhaps repeat the most important points from before. This is about how you enjoyed it overall, rather than a bonus points section. Usually rewards for extra features come under Originality.

TOTAL: /100
UPDATE FRONT!

Key
0-19 I could have made that in my sleep!
20-39 Needs a lot of work.
40-59 An average project I suppose.
60-79 Quite a cool project.
80-94 Wow! It only needs a bit of tweaking.
95-100 You're the top cat!

graphics is clear. "look" is how polished the game is. for example, a game may have good gameplay graphics, but an overall unprofessional look. it will get high graphics, but low quality score. and please, let me decide what my rating system will be. you have your own review thread, so do with it whatever you like. i have control over my thread.

No I'm just saying that people might be put off (like me) if they're confused, and I am a potential customer who would like to get a review done in the future by your team. Also, if the graphics look unprofessional, how would they score high in the first place? I don't understand the difference between graphics and game-play graphics. By the way, have you read your F1 2013 review yet? I did it before you said "When you doing my review" yesterday.

So, I'd like these two reviewing please: Generation: 3000 and Generation:4001 Gold thank-you!

PS. there have been a few review teams on scratch, from Willpower's to mine, so you might want to change your slogan!  big_smile

yes i did read your review. and we will start reviews as soon as our team is complete. and one last time- look means the overall impression, the extent to which the project is as i said polished, not the graphics.

but surely polished comes under graphics, unless you mean polished as in no glitches, and every feature working? in that case, then yeah it is in the right place but it should not be called "look". i'm only trying to help!

Well you can ask, but you'll be on the waiting list with me. It shouldn't be long as this looks like it could be a good service when things get going.

Cool this is a great Idea  big_smile
If my review shop ends I know where to come!

I have an Idea  smile
Our two review shops could join,
I could post a link to here at my shop and then the people that I review could come here,
Therefore giving this review team more reviews, which would also be like a continuous 'Bump' keeping your review shop at the top, then there's the chance that you'll gain more reviewers through that, meaning more members and so on...
And perhaps if you posted a link to mine then It could work both ways meaning we would both get loads more people who want reviews  smile
What do you think?

What projects do you specialize in (games, animations, etc.)? Games
Do you have any relevant experience? Well, I've done other types of reviewing before, like reviewing people's strategies in multiplayer games, doing book reviews for our school newspaper, and being the judge for a talent competition.

Hi, I'm Lunastar, and I think reviewing projects would be really fun. I like discovering new projects and critiquing them. I especially like to play games-AND make them, so I'd probably be best with reviewing games. I've been on Scratch almost 2 1/2 years (my old account was luna-budew) and I was a curator! Btw I'm in the US Eastern time zone :3
