Another Update: I switched from a Gigabyte mobo to an Asus one because it has a newer chipset, and Asus's BIOS is just plain awesome.

Can't upgrade because the Haswell will have a different socket so you'll have to get an all new MOBO.

Interesting website, I ended up building the PC I am currently using and I am positive I have not payed over 2 grand for it. Though, to be fair, I normally wait for large sales at semi-local computers stores and get decent parts for half price through.

  My project is going a bit crazy. Originally I wanted to just get a better moniter. Then I realised my horrible graphics wouldn't let me get a 1980x1080 screen so I would have to a better GPU. Then I realised I'd need a better power supply. Then I realised that my case is MicroATX and there are no good MicroATX power supplies. Not sure what I'll do in the end.

A few notes:

- A case isn't listed, because I am using an old Cyberpower one from a computer from 2005 or so.
-Sound card is HT-Omega Striker 7.1, not Claro II
-Monitor is a 32" Toshiba TV >: D
-Mouse and keyboard are cheap garbage (originally bought for my Raspberry Pi), but will be replaced whenever I get a chance.
