I have a feeling this is a duplicate... anyway:
Handheld: 3DS
Console: Gamecube

Nononononono.
GBA SP is a freaking classic.
Original and Lite DS can play only GBA games,
But the GBA SP can play every Game Boy game ever made.

Oh. I didn't know that. I've only ever had an advance and an SP so there aren't any GB or GB color or any other kind of games I'd be trying to play.

Uh hm
Either 3DS or Wii U.
Depends I guess.
I'm playing a lot of Lego City: Undercover right now so Wii U, I suppose?

"freaking classic" is not any sort of actual argument.
The original DS was released only 1 year after it, and video games are so relatively new that their timeline is confusing, but are either old enough to be classic.
Besides the SP is just a remake of the original GBA so wouldn't the GBA be more qualified for the title? There's not functionality lost between the two afaik
Anyways it is all open to opinion to "guys what are you doing" implies that people are being wrong.

Yeah but the GBA SP has the backlit screen, GBA has no lit screen at all (it's very hard to see in any lighting condition).
By classic I really only meant that it will stand the test of time.

I don't know man, I see a lot more people with DSes (mainly Lite but it is pretty much the same) 9 years after its release than I do 10 years after the GBA SP.
I think most even somewhat decent consoles stand the test of time in some way. The NES I wouldn't call the greatest gaming system. Influential, important, etc. yes, and the games are fun, but only a few of them are as good as the games releasing now.
People will be nostalgic for the Wii, PS3, and Xbox in 10 years and the fun games on them won't be diminished by the newer ones.

I think that nostalgia has this sort of cycle, where it goes from it starts out brand new, everyone loves it, new thing comes out, old one slowly disappears from mainstream attention, but still lingers in a way that people will feel nostalgic for them and look back to the past.

Yes, that's what nostalgia is...

Guys what are you doing.
GBA SP is obviously best handheld.
SNES is best console.
Nexus 7 is beat mobile (but that's a tablet so who cares).
Hey, just because it is your opinion doesn't mean it has to be everyone else's.

I understand, I've run into similar problems too.

Do you understand the concept of opinions? I personally don't prefer GBA to DS, but that isn't fact.
Sorry if this came off as a bit mean, my point is: don't make it seem like you think your opinion is dominant.

i think it's generally understood that people are posting their opinions on this thread, since it is a question that asks your opinion
you don't really need to say "my opinion" every single time to get that point across

Consoles come from different times, so they're all different in a way. The Wii had motion-controlled controllers, the XBOX had multiplayer games and etc. etc.

I think that it depends on what games your interested in. Like Family games, FIrst Person Shooters, Adventure Games, CLassic Games, ect. I prefer Xbox because Im into first person shooters, and PS#s are a little expensive. If your into Classic Games, or Family games then A wii is good for you. I have both and love each of them.

Ok, guys, calm down. I didn't ask, " Why is your opinion better than everyone elses?" so seriously, relax. [/offtopic]
