No way man everyone knows Studio Ghibli makes the only anime films worth watching duh!!!!!!!! I have seen it before and I liked it

yeah!!!!!!!!!

anyway paprika is a lot like black swan due to the fact that it is what black swan ripped off of (the guy who made black swan actually bought the rights to the film). I actually haven't seen it >> but I heard it's really good.

also: saint oniisan is basically amazing and pretty much the greatest idea ever

another more serious movie is wolf children ame and yuki, to be honest I haven't watched this one either but the animation looks amazing

What's weird about it? Japanese people can base films off of American literature :T

Not illegal if I had a liscense which I don't.
I just used that example because I got my fortune (silly version) told once at a camp I go to, and they said I would own a pet Orangutan named Steve.   tongue

ANyway, whats Laputa about? I've never seen it?

It's about a princess who runs away from the government and meets a farm boy who is fascinated with Laputa, which is the castle in the sky. Together, they try to find it against the pirates and the government (who both want the princess' necklace).

It's also Ghilibi's first full-length feature film. And the music is wonderful.

Re: Studio Ghibli

I saw Spirited Away when I was 8 or so. I loved it, but it creeped me out for a really long time. I've also seen Ponyo, and a good portion of Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Castle in the Sky.

Re: Studio Ghibli

I remember I used to get Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky confused when I was younger. I haven't seen either of them though, I tried watching Castle in the Sky but it was too boring so I quit.
