I'm interested in finding someone to help teach a 16-year old boy the basics of programming, starting with Scratch (maybe Alice or Raptor) and then moving into Python or Java later on. If anyone know about an organization, club, company, non-profit or just a good resource in the Chicago area (preferably northern suburbs), I'd be grateful.

It looks like there'll be a Scratch Day meetup in Chicago on May 18th (That's a Saturday) at West Ridge Elementary School! You might be able to find someone who's able to teach there + learn the basics
