how do you make an animated scratch avatar using the scratch program?

I see tons of people with animated avatars in comments but I have no idea how to make them. If you know how to do this in the scratch program itself please tell me. It would be a lot easier than downloading something complicated just to make an avatar.  smile

They're called gifs, You can't make them using Scratch, but there are a lot of Gif makers around the internet.

You can't make them using Scratch, but you can use Paint, GIMP, iaza.com, gifsoup.com, any paint program  smile
