User picture updating...

It always takes a while to update my user picture to places other than the user page.  Why is this?

It's weird, isn't it? They should try to fix it.


I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

It updates your picture properly but your computer has already saved the old picture. Try clearing your cache or using another browser.

The cache is the data that your browser saves when it loads webpages. It doesn't want to receive the same information over and over so it will save it to your hard drive. What you are seeing in your profile place is not the website's profile picture, it is the picture that your browser saved. This also happens with projects on scratch.

Search google for instructions on how to clear the cache for your browser.
