Easter is ever closer so let's discuss the holiday! I mean - it's the best excuse for oversized chocolate (of course there is also a big religious part as well). So how do you celebrate it?

NOTE: Whilst the religious side of Easter is important - but it isn't a topic that the Scratch Mods will allow.

We don't actually celebrate it for a few more weeks. That's when it is for my religion. But for many people, it's soon! I celebrate with delicious chocolate and homework that our teachers say they won't assign us but do so anyways big_smile

I basicly don't love religious holidays. I feel not good when people start about religion.

You don't have to discuss the religious side of Easter (though it would be nice to see some people recognizing the true meaning of Easter) so you could discuss Easter eggs, the Easter bunny (whatever the heck that is) or what you do to celebrate Easter.

Although I agree, discussion of religion is not allowed on the forums because of the arguments it can bring up; this topic can only be used to discuss the non-religious portions of Easter, such as the consumerised celebration that several holidays have fallen prey to.

I like chocolate bunnies too! Especially the small Cadbury's Caramel ones with the caramel inside and the very *adultly* cute bunny on the wrappers.

I think Easter's this Sunday but I'm not sure. I'll be out of state for it, thank goodness. Usually for Easter my mother's family comes over, and I really don't like them. They're around twice my age and still try to milk all possible conversation out of interests we shared when I was nine (Like some manga+anime+etc I find really ridiculous now [Regardless of if I still watch it or not >:0]). And they make me play Rockband with them for hours. e_e

I don't mind getting candy and painting + hiding + looking for eggs though.

(+Honestly I probably wouldn't even know Easter was a religious holiday if no one told me...)

I usually go to my grandparents for Easter, with all the aunts and uncles and cousins and such. big_smile My one aunt has 12 kids so it'll be hectic.. But we always have a good time. :3
