For me it would be The Gift by James Patterson.
I mean the first one was tolerable, but what was that?
Also saying Twilight is banned or else that would be this entire thread

I actually hated the first Witch and Wizard book. Reason why I never read The Gift.
Another book that I absolutely despised was Chasing Vermeer, for some odd reason it was required reading for me, it was an awful mystery novel with an awful premise.
Also, basically any Goosebumps book. I know I know they're a classic children's series but come on, it's horrifying how ungodly and otherwordly awful that series is.
Heh it's horrifying that it's unhorrifying, paradoxxxx.

Didn't he very specifically say Twilight was banned.

Why do you guys hate it?
It's certainly not the best book ever but

Opinions are made to be respected.
+1
I don't understand how on earth you can hate that series so much, but it's your opinion, not mine.

Don't flame on me, but I really hated The Hunger Games. Catching Fire and Mockingjay were great though.

I think it may be interesting to read just because of its historical impact, though.

I got this children's book from our used book store, called something like "LUCY'S SUPER COOL AND TOTALLY TRUE E-JOURNAL." It's about a snarky 9 year old's summer break, and it has cheesy chatlogs of her and her best friend talking to each other in all capital letters and using acronyms that get defined in the footnotes after every use. Probably the worst children's book I've ever seen, but I still bought it.
There was also a comic by one of my favorite artists (Dan Clowes!) that I suffered through because I kept waiting for it to get better. It wasn't really meant to be read in one sitting, I guess, since it was a weekly publishing or something but just sitting down and trying to read it was so boring and awful

Apparently the "e-journal" was made before EVERYBODY used the internet constantly, so the index of acronyms may be excusable. It does sound awful though. 5 stars from 11 reviewers on Amazon though!
