Yes, lund is right. Round one and two overlap, round two and three overlap, round three and four overlap, and so on. But one and three, two and four, they do not overlap.

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

Round two has started! The rules for this round are the following:

Must take place:
900AD to 1600AD. Medieval themed sort of.

Must have the following randomish stuff:
~Royalty (King or queen. But if you are a warrior's fan, then you can have them be animals or something if that's what you want to write.)
~Kingdoms
~Arson (Burn houses, BURN!)
~Explosion(s)
~Magic

I know, Arson and Exploding is a bit strange, but I'm sure you can fit it in!

Also, it's helpful when you're writing to have a checklist of what you need to include in your story, like this example:

The flames licked at Ary's foot, and she turned to run out the door. Outside, she gasped.
The entire house was burning, and ash was raining from the sky like snow. A black figure darted away from the building into the darkness so fast that Ary could barely see it.

CHECKLIST:
[#] ~Arson
[] ~Explosion(s)
[] ~Magic

Does it have to be arson or can it just be general burning things?

Well if the fire is started on purpose by someone else, it counts. (I mean arson. xD)

Does it have to be entirely between 900AD to 1600AD because the plot I have starts in the modern day?

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

Does it have to be like king and queen royalty or can it be like Indian chief? Also can an Native American tribe's hunting grounds and stuff count as a kingdom? And last one; can I make a really bad guy from history ( like Hitler) come back in time and make stuff explode? Don't ask why, I'm just so weird XP. And obbsessed with tragic events in our history.

And of course, I have thought of another question! In any of the rounds will it have anything to do with the Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Bigfoot, or any other assorted cryotids/tragic events? Again, I'm just so weird!

Actually, I was planning something like what you said for a future round.

Natives? If it takes place in the times I listed, then yes, chief counts as royalty, hunting grounds count as a kingdom.

And yes, I have no idea why you want it, but Hitler can come back and destroy the world. XD

@JH1010: I'm guessing you want something like your character travels back in time. If so, that's ok, as long as you don't spend much time in the present, if he's staying in the present for the entire story, not ok.

I'm stretching my planned rules for you guys, hoping for a great story to come out of this. Try your best!

Can we write fanfictions for this? I have an idea for one, but I'm not sure I'll go through with it.

I know, Arson and Exploding is a bit strange, but I'm sure you can fit it in!

Also, it's helpful when you're writing to have a checklist of what you need to include in your story, like this example:

My current classmate has some very good wisdom I shall share:

Every good story or video has explosions.

I stand true to his words to this very day, and am glad you do too. :')

Yeah, I spent about two hours a day on it for the last three days, and it's not very long, only about 3000 words, so, yeah.

ONLY about 3000 words. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow you write fast. I only have 2180 words to be exact. The ending is going to be random, unexpected, and sad all at the same time. I'm going to cry when I write it probably.
Two hours a day!!!!! I've spent like, four hours altogether, lol, I haven't edited it yet.
