Medevial times began 300 CE, and ended 1600 CE.

I know that, but I was asking Nomolos if we can be a little slack. I don't think you username is Nomolos.

Erm, I am a judge and I am supposed to help out,  200 years is a huge difference, so it wouldn't be a little slack. O.o just saying.

Hmm. I guess I could change the time period to "Any time at least 150 years before now."  tongue

Ok! I'll let it happen if Lund agrees. Also, mint, Lund's a judge, so she basically is second in command.  smile

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

Hey Mint, I decided to change up Round Two a bit. Round two will take place in medieval times, and medieval times only. Round four however will be 1800-1900s. Round four begins when two ends, so you can make them both.

Okay, this might get a bit hard XD Yeah my medievil one might get a little messed up. OOO! Random inspiration moment! Harry goes back in time to the medieval times and can't understand anyone because they speak Old English!

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

Hey wait, whether Europe had discovered it or not by then, a story about native american tribes would still suit that period because for all we know, they were almost the same as when the explorers got to them hundreds of years later. Technically, a story set In uncolonised America would still suit the period. An Idea for anyone who was stuck. It may be different and weird but you can't argue with it's accuracy.  smile

I CALL IT! LOL not really, I guess anyone could use it, but you just jump-started my ideas! Maybe about Harry's Native American form. I'll have to think of a name... blah blah blah just squirting out ideas XD

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

Just because it's middle ages doesn't mean it's Knights of the round table.
All of the music I've ever written sounds middle ages gone frankie goes to hollywood. That doesn't stop it fom sounding middle ages.
Okay that had nothing to do with anything, except that I was trying to. Think of something to do with the middle ages that wasn't obvious.
I'm going mad.
Anyway, back to writing!  wink   hmm

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

I think you can only enter either round 3 or 4, because I'm pretty sure there overlapping. I'm not in charge here, though, so I dnt know. If we were allowed to enter 2 rounds at a time I would SO enter round 2. I love magic and medival. It would probably turn out to be some cliche wizard dragon save-me-princess story though...

Re: Write to DEATH - A challenging competition for avid writers

It might be fun to do something that sides with the "evil dragon and witch" rather then the knight and princess.
Actually... I did one like that when i was 9, it ended with the dragon getting rid of the king and eating human bisuits. Now i think about it, i'm surprised the teacher didn't send me to the phycitrist (I have no idea how to spell that) Oh well, back to the drawing board  smile

Or the writing board.
Or just a keyboard belonging to an old laptop which the only software it has is notepad.
A bit like me, just I use textmaker.

Hey Mintfang, I am pretty sure Round 3 and 4 overlap, so you need to choose one.
