Help serious issue!!!!!!!
Whenever I try to save my project lately, it says its not responding, and I have to wait so long for it to finish saving. Occasionally it never finishes and I have to force close. What do I do???? Urgent help is needed.
P.S. my project's file size is at least 50,000 kb

50,000 kb is way over the limit of memory when it comes to uploading projects. But it looks like you're trying to save a project, not upload it, which shouldn't trigger the effects you're experiencing.
A couple reasons why this might be happening:
Your computer is too slow and can't handle such a big project.
Squeak, the programming language that Scratch was programmed in, is low on memory.
Or you're project is much to big to save and Squeak crashes when you try.

why did no one tell me that i could compress the images and sounds, i did that and the size of the file reduced all the way to a little over 15,000 kb
