They only sync the databases every once in a while, and the last one was on 24th of January (?) so you unfortunately missed out. But they WILL sync them at least once before the full release of 2.0

You can only log on if you created your account BEFORE January 26

They don't sync the databases ever.
The only time it was synced was so that people could test the beta. That was on January 26th.
The only time in the future they will sync the databases is right before they delete this site, and fully shift to Scratch 2.0.

I thought it was before Jan. 25?
But anyways, sorry TopTenMania, you missed out :\
But there is a bright side: Everything that is created in Scratch 2.0 beta has all its love-its, views, favorites, etc. ALL deleted. So even if you can get on scratch 2.0, all your hard work and love-its will be deleted, which is also why getting a project featured is so controversial: I'm both happy, and sad at the same time

I don't think that's true.
It is true, and was confirmed on one of the threads in the Announcements section of the 2.0 forums by Lightnin.
