when gf clicked
create variable <[non-taken-variable-name]>
  set <new variable> to <pick random <[1]> to <[10]>>
end

This would greatly expand what you could do in Scratch!

I agree. It'd introduce Scratchers to the idea of scope.

I agree with instance/script variables, but what if a script called this one before it was created? However, this would be useful with cloud vars.
