I can help... let me just work this out myself.
Ok, here's a pic to help you. Made it myself 
Apple Lossless encoder is the best quality, but you can choose MP3 if you want to save space.
@everyone else: Maybe you should try to be more helpful

Well I've never used a mac for the purpose of listening to music, so I wouldn't know. I've only used one for schoolwork.

@ProgrammingPro iTunes isn't Mac-only, so that argument is irrelevant.

@everyone: I figured it out: my computer isn't detecting any disk I put in, not DVDs, CD ROM, anything! I'll see if my brother can help me with that. Thank you!
