No reason? Did you just type this in like five seconds without thinking first? Griefing is only allowed on raiding and pvp servers. And WHY do people grief, raid and kill each other? Personal benefit. It keeps a fresh sense of danger and action. I honestly don't like nongriefing SMP, since in my opinion, if it's not gonna be griefing, why not just make it creative plots. Factions in non griefing servers are the most pointless thing ever aside from land protection. If you just wanna play survival with friends and build without fear of griefers, why not do it on a LAN world or private server?

Usually PvP servers have much easier methods of obtaining diamonds(such as a shop). In many pvp servers, most people have diamond armor. Also, what is the point of obtaining invincible diamond armor anyways? Where is the common sense to spend those 48 hours? Other than showing off? None of the mobs in the game are a challenge anyways for you to need such strong armor(besides ender dragon which is probably already killed by the time you join the server and wither which has easier methods of killing). Diamond armor is only worthwhile in pvp. In survival servers, the only thing I EVER enchant(besides lv 1 enchants on iron/stone swords) is a pickaxe. The things I enchant the most often in pvp servers are armor and weapons. I am not here to have a pvp debate. I am here for the server. This may sound a bit cliche but if you don't like pvp then just leave this thread. This is a pvp server. I don't complain on survival servers for no pvp. I look for another server.

A: Understand that I hate the universe? Umm, no. Where did you get that from? Is it just because you were desperate for something to say back at me? Minecraft is irrelevant to hating the universe. And no, that was not really needed. I apologize, I have a terrible habit of extending my posts way beyond what is necessary. I am getting too long already now.

Raiding is only for fun silly 
I wrote more people would come because they like grief,unlike others.
