importing bedroom backgrounds

When my students try to import backgrounds the two bedroom backgrounds won't come in. The other ones do. Any idea what the problem is?

Re: importing bedroom backgrounds

Check the file type, and is it in the scratch background folders, is it the designated ones that come with scratch?

Re: importing bedroom backgrounds

The bedroom backgrounds are stored in the GIF format and the other indoor backgrounds are stored in the JPEG format.  Perhaps there is something wrong with your install of Scratch that prevents it from importing GIF pictures.  Can you re-install Scratch? (I would NOT suggest un-installing it first.)

Or, can you try using a paint program to open the bedroom pictures one at a time and convert them to JPEG format?  BTW, on my computer the bedroom background pictures are found in this directory:
"C:\Program Files\Scratch\Media\Backgrounds\Indoors" .

I've updated my text adventure game.
