Game reviews

I am opening a game review shop. I will not accept projects which have gore or are simply inappropriate.
I will be VERY honest
I will judge games on the following:
Graphics: /20
How well your drawings are. I love it if you draw sprites by yourself!!
Uniqueness:/20
How unique your game is
Quality: /20
How well your game works online.
How enjoyable: /20
how enjoyable or addictive your game was.
And finally....
My opinion: /20
How I liked the game. I can give you suggestions how to improve it etc.
Top 5 in leaderboard will get advertising on my projects.
Top 2 in leaderboard will appear in my best games!!!

Re: Game reviews

The Power Of Darkness And Power Episode 4 Part 2: Infinity Flow VS Hyper Perfect Nazo
Graphics: 16/20
You didn't draw the sprites yourself, but it matched the theme.
Uniqueness: 18/20
I've seen attempts at this before but yours was wonderfully executed! Well done!
Quality: 19/20
It worked very well online!! The only problem was I couldn't click the heal button....
How enjoyable: 17/20
It was addicting, but got boring after a while....
My opinion: 19/20
It was an interesting game, but you could decrease the health so that it doesn't get boring.
Score: 89/100
Fun RPG!!

It worked very well online!! Unfortunately, you can't save online....

My opinion: 18/20
Very fun to play, but I have no idea how you can increase the number of tiles you have...
Score: 97/100
One of the best games I've played!

I think where I lost points was unreasonable. It's impossible to save online anyway unless you were to wait until cloud variables come out, so I can't lose points for something that is impossible.

Also, do you need to increase the number of tiles? You have 225 areas, each with 49 tiles, totalling 11025 tiles! That's 17.64 times higher than the closest city builder which only allowed 625 tiles, so I don't see what the problem is. If you want a smaller city just limit yourself to a corner of the area.

I'm presuming if the above options were considered then the 97 should increase as well, hopefully!

Oh, and thanks for reviewing!

Actually, I've seen a game where you can save online, and it doesn't use cloud variables.

But you'll probably lose it when you refresh the page? Or you have to use a password (for mine to use a code it would have to be a minimum of 22050 characters long, as each tile needs 2 numbers like 07 or 32) so could I have a link to this project?

There was a comment which said the save worked even after refreshing.

Well without any proof you can't score me down on it, because when you refresh the page the project goes back to how it was when it was first uploaded, unless the user hacked into Scratch and added custom blocks, which makes it inaccessible to the users who download the project that don't have those blocks installed.

Fine I'll change it.

Excuse me, this is not the place to put your problems. The place is help with scripts.

Vector
Graphics: 15/20
I know you drew the art yourself but I think it was a little too basic...
Uniqueness: 17/20
I have seen LOADS of platformer games but I like the idea of a vector! Well done!
Quality: 19/20
Good quality! But the jumping is slow...
How enjoyable: 17/20
It was an addictive game, but the above problems made it harder for me to play...
My opinion: 17/20
A very well made game with an epic idea! If you fix the above problems I'm sure the game will be great!
Score: 85/100
Nice game!!

Thanks!  I was not aware of these bugs, but I'll try to fix them.  What was wrong with the lines?  Were they drawing wrong, or was it not drawing at all, or what?  Thanks again!

When I tried to draw the line a third time, it came as a dot.

Side Scroller: EDIT
Graphics: 10/20
I felt you could improve the graphics a lot. Please work more on the graphics.
Uniqueness: 17/20
I felt this was basically a life simulator. Because I haven't seen lots of life simulators, you get 17.
Quality: 19/20
Worked pretty well online.
How enjoyable: 18/20
It was very addictive! The movement was bad though...
My opinion: 17/20
It was a fun game but if you fix the movement it will be better.
Score: 81/100
Good life simulator!

Re: Game reviews

Moltres V. Zapdos Beta v1.1
Graphics: 9/20
Sorry to give a bad score but the sprites were not drawn by yourself.
Uniqueness: 10/20
I have seen LOADS of Pokemon games and this wasn't any different.
Quality: 20/20
It was very smooth online!! Well done!
How enjoyable: 13/20
You can easily win the game, so it wasn't very enjoyable.
Perhaps you could add singleplayer....
My opinion: 16/20
It was a good game but you could make it harder and add music.
Score: 68/100
Fun Pokemon game!
P.S I will update the review if you update the game.
