Vector Tutorial

Current Version: Vector 2.2.0

GAMEPLAY:
You are a rectangle trying to navigate this mathematical labyrinth.  You walk around through awesome levels, clicking to make vectors to take you to victory!
CONTROLS:
WASD and arrow keys can be used to move.  You jump about a third of the screen high.  If you're touching brown, you can move side to side, but you can only jump upward and a slow pace.  Purple means you can move up and down, but not side to side.  Red makes you lose the level and you need to try again.

VECTORS:
Vectors are lines with both DIRECTION AND MAGNITUDE!!! OH YEAH!!  big_smile
So, a vector has two factors, Direction(angle) and Magnitude.  Direction is which direction it is going toward, starting at 0 (pointing right) and going 360 degrees counterclockwise.
Magnitude is the length of the line.

Have fun!

Re: Vector Tutorial

Many updates made to the game.  I changed the base to have realistic motion and velocities, added some music, and created more levels.

Re: Vector Tutorial

Sorry, it turns out that gradient ruined the color fractals.  Back to 2.1.0

Well, it explains how the game works, including the idea of a "vector", which not everyone gets otherwise.  So, it doesn't tell you how to win, but how to play.

Re: Vector Tutorial

Update: Vector moved on to the second round of SC13, taking 3rd out of 24 projects.  Also, it only needs 1 more love-it before I make a new level.
