From what you've told me in other posts, first, you'll need a white or black background. Then, you just need to use the [change [brightness v] effect by (5)] block in a few repeat loops to get what you need. Remember, you might actually have to change the brightness effect by a different amount to get what you need. Then, if you want a smooth transition to a different background, make sure that the brightness is -100, switch to whatever you want, and readjust the brightness to normal.
