How do I sign up Microsoft Visual Studio for personal use?

Hello, everyone,
I downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Express, today for personal development. I am told I need to register the product within 30 days to continue using it. When I try to register it, I am asked for information about my business/organization, but want to use the product only for personal use. How then do I gain a product key? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Respectfully,
Skippito

I don't know, but I do know that Microsoft Office asks for company name/ business information, so maybe you don't have to fill it out?

If it's express, which you told us it is, click Help> Register Product.
It'll ask you to fill in your name (I'd make a fake one) and your live ID.
A live ID is kind of like a Microsoft website account / E-mail. You can get one here. Once again, i'd recomend making a fake one only used for registering Studio. Once you got that filled in, Microsoft will send an E-Mail to your Live ID, confirm it, and your done

Re: How do I sign up Microsoft Visual Studio for personal use?

I am prompted for a registration key, not an ID. When I tried to type in my ID, it was formatted as a key, so it does not look as if it would work.
