That is a good way to start off. Other things we will need in the future is graphics for a fake scratch webpage, the player's room, and other things.
Also, if you get any ideas for the game, please post them here.

I have a suggestion. There should be a list called "Popularity". Once you achieve so and so, you earn this rank. You start off as noob, and make yourself up to,... I don't know, maybe moderator?

You know, I would be honored to be the artist of this. I just don't know how much time I'll have to work on this on a daily basis.

Do you have any examples of your art work. It has to be above average so you have to be fairly good.

Yeah, thats pretty good. I'll put your name on the list.
Anyways, I think there is enough people now. Don't want to make it too crowded.

Welcome to the two new people. This should be a good project.
Some of these could be used for the menus;
http://reinerstileset.4players.de/gamemenuE.html
Also www.cooltext.com allows you to make your own buttons using different fonts and styles which may be an idea.

I would prefer it if the graphics (except the scratch logos) were made from scratch.
I can use flash to make some fancy buttons if you want.

The first thing I need is an intro video. It would be great if you could make one and base the story off the story in this project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Dan01/313342

I did have an idea for a start, but me being rubbish at drawing I didn't use it.
Basically you see the person facing the computer screen, so that the camera is on the back of the person, then the camera moves over the person's head and zooms in on the computer screen, showing the scratch website.

About the game bonus, shouldn't be too hard. it van be done by adding a "change variable".
The problem with a collaboration is that everyone has it's own programming style. Graphics can be changed later on without causing any problems - it's not the same as with code I think wee should all share as much and as frequently as possible - so we can make it run smoothly together.
This is what I've done so far:
The current minigames project I have can be imported with the "Import project" function, with (almost) no changes.
A minigame is started by broadcasting things like "minigames: pong: start" or "minigames: maze: start". A frame shows up on top of the other things, the game plays inside the frame and the frame can be closed (the layout of the frame can easily be changed - in a window, or maybe the "scratch java player" which could be shown on the "scratch website", or the scratch application running a gamer or whatever) .
When the frame closes, all minigame-scripts stop too. The frame can be dragged if necessary, all sprites are positioned relative to the frame.

JSO, I was thinking that the minigames could be activated with a broadcast and exited with another broadcast. I will do all of the programming for the main game.

Well, you could make a minigame, work on artwork, or just brainstorm ideas for the game. Take your pick.

By the way, we have to include star wars game in your algorithm. There are TONS of Star Wars gallerys.
