Student projects gallery...

Hi everyone,

My 9th graders are learning to use Scratch with projects based on the lessons here: http://shallwelearn.com/index.php/en/scratchprogrammingforkidscategory-4/scratch-lesson

I've posted some of the most successful projects in this gallery. Many are quite similar but they had to personalize them to earn the highest grades. They are working on original projects now, which will be posted over the next week or so.

We'd love for you to visit and leave comments, as an authentic audience is so encouraging!

Thanks!
Ms. V.

It's good to hear that your teaching Scratch. In my school, Year 4 (Grade 3 to you) (I'm in Grade 5/Year 6) are using Scratch!

Re: Student projects gallery...

Thanks! I teach IB MYP Year 4 Technology. Some of the kids are brand new to our school, others have been with us for years, so I have to start at the beginning, but I also have some kids who are ready for quite sophisticated stuff... some of the independent projects are going to be great, so check back next week. I'm going to have the kids create their own accounts and upload at that time, and then I'll add them to the gallery; me posting all their projects was just a test run.

What kinds of projects do you assign your kids? What do they like best?

Sorry, I'm not a teacher. I'm a student at my Primary School.

Hey kellyvaughan27!

You might want to check our our ScratchEd Area.  It's a place for educators using Scratch - they might have some suggestions for you  smile

I found this in the Reports queue...I think you probably wanted to Post Reply rather than Report...
