well at least MCPAIN ISN"T PRESIDENT!!!!! then we would have had to deal with hilary, and I don't trust her, or have confidence in her abilities to be president. john mcpain is like 30 centuries old. Anyway have you heard of the term "sore losers"? The country and the majority of it's people, who know more about politics then you think he is better then john MCpain, Your going to have to live with that and try not to sulk in your corner
McPain?
It is that kind of immaturity that has flushed my respect for many democrats down the loo. Also, Hillary Clinton would not be in office if McCain was! His running mate was Sarah Palin.
Besides this, most of the scratchers saying they would prefer McCain are just voicing their opinion. Is that wrong? Of course I accept that Obama won, but I don't have to like it. And I think that making a whole forum thread on scratch due to Obama's being elected could be considered sore winning.
Did you read the quote, if they were saying i would've preferred mccain I wouldn't have posted, (the mcpain stuff is when my friend started saying that because of obama's middle name, osane, that obama is a terrorist ect. ect. This topic was more to discuss the election. Also what if, mccain died, or was unable to work (he is old) plus being president must be very stressful. then palin would be president.

America, get you thought we were in a bad economic state? Well, we got 4 more years of worse. I could name so many reasons why this is bad:
Bombing Pakistan because he believes Osama is there
Taxing big companies, which pass the "savings" on to us
Lowering the minimum income of families to tax. Now you only need to make a hundred and a quarter to be taxed!
Yay! Now we will get a new flag/anthem, cause he finds them offensive.
Great job America. You just ruined this country with your ignorance of choosing race over experience, age over views. Wow i hate this country![]()
Me too!

Really a main reason he won is because a lot of people voted because he is black but news flash he is half white!
Lanie.....everyone knew that. There is no need to be so....offensive. The race is over, he is president, and THE MARKET IS TURNING AROUND!!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! the only thing that isn't is unemployment, which still has a ways to go

Most of the blacks voted for Obama because he was black; they felt a special connection towards him. He mainly attracted blacks and Hispanics and young whites.
From the start, he had a boost. People wanted "change." After supporting George Bush, many conservatives and neutrals switched over to Obama because they felt the huge economic crisis was the Republicans' fault.
-He spoke very calmly and well.
-His campaigning was superb, he went everywhere, even managing to turn strong Republican states over to his side.
He's doing pretty OK right now, some bad stuff, some good.
P.S. Anyone hear about how the "police acted stupidly?"
Oh what a stupid comment Obama made.
