From Wikitionary: "The state of being famous or well-known and spoken of."
Therefore, a "famous" Scratch user, is simply one recognized, well-known and seen well by fellow Scratchers. Maki-Tak is famous for creating the "Toki" character. JJROCKER is famous for creating one of the most popular Scratch magazines. Wes64 is famous for his programming and his games.

benjamin2 is famous for The Level Game. kaj was famous for claiming to hack Scratch. veggieman001 is famous for having nearly 20,000 posts.

You get famous for different reasons, like he said
Theeplodingcheez is famous for some rather new humor, and Mr. Happyman.
I am not famous for doing absolutely nothing special.
