1.4 and beyond "looks" and "pen" suggestions

there are some things I think could be improved, such as stamping with transparency. that could change a lot of stuff! you could also have pen transparency... and PLEASE bring back the Stretch effect. with it and size, you can do a lot of new stuff with 3D rendering!  there might also be a [use eraser] to be used with [pen up] and [pen down]. This would be extremely useful in many cases. also, there are things with layers, so that you could possibly know what layer you were in, or go to a specific layer? comment and say what you think about it.

Do you mean stamping with a ghost effect on the stamp or having a stamp that's part transparent? We can already have part transparent stamps.

Being able to rub out parts of the pen line would be useful because right now all you can do is cover it up. I strongly agree about layers, the only way to it at the moment is [go to front] and then [back x layers] which is annoying because you have to wait for each sprite to jump forward and back.

Some good ideas,

mabye the pen could have difrent layers, that could mean that if you drew on layer one but your pen is set to layer 2, clearing will not affect layer one. Also you need to be able to stamp on to, meaning that a sprite changes acording to the drawn pen ect...

The ability to use the pen or stamp on a sprite (ie. a layer) rather than just the stage would be great. For example you could do splash/scorch marks or bullet holes where they actually happen rather than just creating a generic costume for a each effect.

I mean that when you stamp, the stamped part looks exactly the same as if the sprite is over the background, mostly if it has the ghost effect. some things you could do with it are: make a trail of transparent goo, draw transparent lines, and other stuff. there have been a bunch of times when I have wanted this feature.

For erasing pen lines, cant you just use 'clear'?

Hai.
