I need a mod 2

Is their a way I can receive Scratcher status quicker? My New Scratcher status is preventing me from updating this post: Scratch Underground.

The ST doesn't upgrade members by request. You just have to be active for a while.

by constantly posting projects, comments, and posts, you'll get the scratcher status sooner.

also, if you're not a scratcher yet, you can request a mod to edit a post for you via the report button (just say what you want edited, and what for it to be edited to)

Even though the mods don't say it, they generally don't like to do that. The whole point of being a new scratcher is that you have less privileges then others.

No, the point of being a New Scratcher is to prevent spammers and trolls. The limiting privileges just is the way that they accomplish that.
The reason you have to ask a mod to edit it is to make sure that you aren't removing any rude comments or anything before a mod sees it.

they'd probably be fine if you made a mistake with information, but not like typos as they aren't as important.
just don't ask like every day.

Well, it certainly takes a lower priority than other things (spam, inappropriate material, topic closing/moving), but i don't think we mind much. Personally i'm fine with it, though it would be better if they would check their posts before submitting.
