Plagiarism Problem

A while ago, I posted a short story of mine on a message board to be reviewed. However, I used an alias, and now plagiarism checkers are picking it up and saying it's not my own work. I'm going to submit the same piece to a writing competition, and I really don't want to get disqualified for something like that. Any suggestions?

Are you an aspiring home decorator? If so, please answer my question!

Can you still access the account you used to post the story originally?

Re: Plagiarism Problem

Access the forum account used originally, and edit the post in which you posted the story, pointing out you're WingsGames or whatever name you're using to enter the competition, and finally, submit the story to the competition.
