Nintendo is the REASON that gaming is what it is today. Without them, gaming would either be just games like Pong or be dead entirely. And I don't get the "hardcore" and "casual" game stuff. I like good video games, regardless of their audience.

Also, the DualShock is the most overrated controller of all time. The only exclusive stuff on PS3 that interests me is Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Ratchet & Clank, and Metal Gear Solid. But Nintendo's always got Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Pokemon (which I'm not a fan of, but many people like), as well as some exclusive third party games like No More Heroes and MadWorld. Bayonetta 2's also going to be a Wii U exclusive.

Likewise, plus the Wii U caters for all audiences more thoroughly. The Wii U has lots of family games, child games (more targeted to younger gamers), teen games and adult games, the PS3 only has a few child and family games, and the rest is teen and adult.

well, wii's are good for a single player but not much for 2 or more who may both want to use the wii U gamepad. i don't know much about PS3 though.
