Is it ok to log onto the alpha with the passcode on public wifi?

Or will that give the network owners/possibly everyone in the network access?

The cookie is stored on your computer, so yes, because other people can't access it.

Like veggie said, the cookie will be stored. But, I don't think they really want to go on that website.

If you were invited to alpha test they give you the code and allow you to go on.
