To be honest, I agree with Nomo. It's not very fun to have all of your work deleted, and not even by somebody. (Also, I believe your post count is intentional, correct?)
No...no i just got (un)lucky:P

Announcement from Nervesplitter:
We have a new announcement relating to the PvP world of Tasekai.
Due to nobody playing it anymore we have decided to scrap the idea of a generic normal world, instead we have a new plan.
Inspired by the upcoming game "Castle Story" we have created a new world called "Ricerca" which includes a 64x64(chunk) area of floating islands, this eliminates bases kilometres from spawn with the actual base being on bedrock. This idea means everyone is in box with eachother, given floating islands to hop around from and encouraging exploration, it's impossible to sit on a single island and stay safe and well stocked.
There will at first be two factions which are locked to be at war with eachother, this is to stop the map becoming overpopulated and also because teamwork is the ultimate factor in PvP, instead of everyone getting their own faction.
There will be a shop at spawn selling seeds, potatoes, spawn eggs, slimeballs and anything else you won't be able to get due to the lack of regular terrain. Due to the islands not being compressed and being free floating, coal is abundant as well as lapis, diamonds are less common and appear singular instead of in veins.
Below are some banners made with screenshots of the world, which will be released at 6pm GMT, 2nd of March in place of Risksilver, which will be put up for download for anyone who wants it.
Because the Nether and End will be inaccessible naturally, events will be held when factions are ready or after a set period of time to gain access to these resources.

Looks cool but I'm still waiting for a Scratch server to cut out the plugins and gimmicks and be community based Survival.

I had a server like that once. It seems like it's going to be fun, and it is, but after a week or two it gets very boring and you want to play with plugins again.

If I recall correctly, that server was very biased towards OPs and Veterans. I'm confident that Tasekai will much more legit.

People are dismissing the idea that it is even POSSIBLE to play Minecraft with the normal experience intact in multiplayer.
It can be done and I've seen it done, and while i said "cut out the plugins", I meant the unnecessary ones. Even some that may have "unfair" advantages could be productive - like warping. But no factions, weird mmo systems, economy outside of trading around valuables or makeshifting a currency.

The server will be going down today until tomorrow when the server will be updated with the new map.

Okay, I'm back in action, and rolling solo this time. None of the factions are really attractive at the moment... Both are negatives in power.

Hey, can I get someone to make a short-term investment?
You invest to me one iron pickaxe (anywhere at or above half health)
I return to you one diamond pickaxe at full health
Good for you, good for me. Also note that I am not associated with any faction, so you would not be directly aiding your enemy by investing, and in fact you may actually end up benefiting yourself by aligning with me...

slinger wrote:
And why do you want an iron pickaxe over a diamond one?
Have you played on the map? I can't seem to find iron, yet diamond is common. It's all an investment. Don't question it, it benefits the investor.

Gigglesfactory combatlogged according to zub I think yesterday, no screenshots but I remember seeing giggles leaving the game, zub calling giggles a combatlogger, and giggles joining soon afterwards. I was also near them, and saw giggles being killed by zub in chat. Then I went to fight zub like a derp and he killed me. Giggles then said we need to move to another base, so I assume giggles had logged during a fight in which zub had found his/her base.
Yup. Again, I don't know whose side to be on, and I don't want another poopstorm like DC 2.0.

Just to follow on from this, Magnesium Beta still owns the rights to the name which means you may not use it. I ask you rename it please, otherwise you will be breaking copyright law.
