Show Does Not Show

I have this script:

when I receive [music v]
show
Sure enough, when music is broadcasted from a different sprite, this script temporarily glows white. But the sprite does not show. Why?

is the ghost effect set to 100? is it behind another sprite?

Have you tried display mode?
