Will the Scratch 2.0 source code be available to download?

I'm sure the modding community would love to fiddle with it in various ways, just as they've done with the 1.x versions. Will the source code of 2.0 be available, perhaps in a license similar to the current source code's (GPLv2 or Scratch License) and in whatever format a Flash project is in (.fla, I believe)?

They've said they probably will, but there are no promises.

Okay then c: I thought so too, but one can never be sure.

I believe it's pretty likely it will be open source, if they've said so.
