I read that, it was boring

Look Everyone. I'm Sorry For Being Such A Big Jerk. I've Just Been Feeling Lousy Lately. I Was Recently So Behind In My Schoolwork That I Was Almost Expelled, I Had A Headache That Lasted All Day Today, And I Have These Christmas Drawings That I Have To Finish Before Christmas Day. So I Was Under A Bit Of Pressure, I'm Very Sorry For Being A Dumb Jerk.
Please Forgive Me, Some Of These Suggestions Were Actually Helpful, Like Add More Appropriate Tags To Projects And Advertise In Sigs. Thanks Guys!

Dude, it's super easy. Just comment on everyone's project and tell them you're gonna hack them and then boom, you're famous.
Yep, you'll get banned, but who cares, fame is fame right

I'm well, having a short, snappy name does help... you'll find that it's alot easier to type in "wes64", than say, "kingcrab6987".

It's how to get it in the real world, which counts. Can you stop using all caps?

I'm not using ALL caps. Besides, what's so bad about it? I like it.

I'm not really famous, but I'm not bothered. If you really DO want to be famous, then... I can't really help you.

By the way -- and this has nothing to do with being famous -- it's annoying that my status says 'new scratcher'. I'm not new. I'm just new to the website.

When you are new to the website, you automatically get that status. Just remember to be active and that will go away soon.

DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!!!!
1.) Be an '07'er/'08'er
2.) Be a good artist, an awesome programmer, and make sure you use sounds Check
3.) Pump out some quality projects in a huge bracket Check
4.) Advertise them (on forums, in sig, and on show and tell) Check
5.) Disappear for a few months, claiming to be working on a huge project Check
6.) Come back and put up a horrible project that's really inappropiate
7.) When the mods take it down, spam the forums with hate messages towards the mods
8.) Get banned Check
Don't take that seriously.
I'm pretty sure that's what NeilWest did.
Sort of, lol.
Anyway, one word - ScratchDesignStudio. Easiest way to stay on the front page.

You know, I'm deleting this darned topic. Nothing here is helpful, all i asked was pretty much how to get a lot of views, and people go and say "You've been on for four months!" HOW THE HECK IS JULY TO DECEMBER 4 STINKING MONTHS?!?!?!?!?!?

NO! I've been on scartch for a year i just started making projects a few months after i registered!
If you started making a projects a few months after, nobody will notice you, therefore people thinking you joined after then... Anyways, it says you registered for the forums in August. Thus, four months.

just make a butt load of projects- sheer amount; people will be bound to notice at least 1 of them.
I tried that, it didn't work. It is partly down to luck, partly down to quality of projects. Both of which I can't seem to master.

Although i am not "famous", here is 12 steps i follow.
1. Make friends with front pagers
2. Help out at the forums
3. Don't post anything on "Hey guys i'm leaving scratch" (to me that is just a scam to get views quite pathetically i might add.
4. Don't post threads like this
5. Have fun with your projects
6. You can also be serious and make good graphics, if you cant then just go to the shop directory in the requests, then the shops
7. People don't know about your projects, make them by posting at show and tell
8. Keep links on projects
9. Make a project link in your signature
10. Put effort in your projects, don't post a glitchy 15 minute project.
11. Ask questions (you are only human)-you are a human, right?
12. Make use of colour and effects
Hope this helps.

... You still never made a project until then either. XD What are you even trying to say? It's not going to change anything.

You know what's weird? People who use scratch are called scratchers, but when you type 'scratchers' into a comment or forum it's underlined in red (saying it's not a word) but that's what we're called on the site!
Or do we just call ourselves that?
Did the scratchers decide to call themselves scratchers or is that the proper name for us? I never thought of that before....

Scratchers is not in the English dictionary, since it is not a widely used term.

YYYEEEAAAHH! I mean what d'you call um- cats? Scratchers! What do you call us? Scratchers! What do you call scratchers? Scratchers!
It's a real word. I stand by Mokat with that.
Even if it isn't in the English dictionary.
I mean saying it isn't a real WORD is like saying boy or girl or human isn't a real word. Because on scratch we all have one thing in common. We are scratchers.
(well we have TONS of things in common but you get the idea)
