I heard about this while I was in school. Very sad and very tragic. I can hardly believe such a horrible thing could happen.

Twenty kids and six adults. It's god-awful. I really hope the shooter rots in hell.
Also, Jinck, if I may ask, what is wrong with you?! You're complaining about being stuck in freaking math class when children have died?
...I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

And adults. Lives shouldn't be valued by their ages. But even killing one person is terrible, but nearly killing 30 people?! (I heard 27 died and 3 were injured severely.) Our world is so messed up.
And we can't know if this guy is really mostly to blame though, a large amount of people who do things like this really are seriously mentally ill, but really we don't focus on helping those people enough… Who knows, maybe this whole thing could have been avoided with some counseling and rehab.

Does that really matter? -_-
Yeah, you'd have to lack a human heart to do something like this. Very tragic indeed.MATH CLASS
Okay. Let's think about it this way.
Would you rather have a two hour math class, or have all of your friends die?
hmm thought so

The suspected Shooter was reported to be acting oddly by family members. He was probably mentally ill. I personnally belive guns aren't the cause of violence. It's the person holding the gun who does.

Yep. And he probably wasn't a sociopath, a sociopath would never kill themselves except as a very last resort, and only maybe then. 99% sure they were mentally ill, and people knew and no one did anything.

Yes, I've been reading about that a lot today too. It's horrid. I can't imagine how sick a person has to be to kill 20 children.
I agree, it'd quite sad and touches most of us personally. But you have to understand these people have a mindset where they don't feel for other people/things at all; killing one adult or a million five year olds makes no difference to them, it doesn't touch them at all.

So you're willing to have 20 little children killed so you can continue hunting? I believe guns should be delt with, I personally agree that I'd be nice to have the luxury of being able to own weapons for hunting and such but not at the cost of many little children's lives.

If the person didn't own a gun they wouldn't be able to use it.
In England 8 people are killed by a handgun per year, in America over 10k are.
And I don't know any teachers who bring a gun to school with them so it's not like everywhere in America is defended against shooters

I just heard about this on the news now.

That's a sociopath, which is probably not whatever this guy had. Regardless, he probably had something, but he was crazy in the literal sense, not a sociopath. He probably had something more along the lines of something like schizophrenia. But still, it was a terrible thing. A large amount of these people just need help, but the world at large doesn't care that much. Sad but true fact of life. Then it's oh so shocking when they snap and kill people.

Not even kids.
5-10 year olds. You have to be so sick to be able to kill even one kid between 5 and 10 year old.
Wasn't he gunned down by the police though? After this and the shootings in Columbia I don't understand how guns can still be legal to the public in America.
My thoughts go out to the dead children and the child who's father killed them.

i heard obama started crying while addressing this.
"They had their entire lives ahead of them -- birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own," Obama said of the children who were killed, tearing up. "Among the fallen were also teachers, men and women who devoted their lives to helping children fulfill their dreams."

murder like this is never a good thing, my condolences go out to the families of the people killed in the attack
i wouldnt call the man "sick," i dont think ive ever heard of an event like this where the killer was not suffering from some sort of mental problems, and mental problems, when left undealt with, can cause you to do things that almost no human in their right mind would do
