You've probably heard on the news about this guy that killed students at Sandy Hooks Elementry school. About 18 kids and 8 adults got killed. It is really sad to hear about this. Please disscus stuff about it here.

I think this is a bit inappropriate for Scratch. Of course it is a horrible tragedy, but this is a place where kids of all ages go.

I was just reading about it - a very tragic event. I feel so bad for all the pain and suffering that this has caused - and will continue to cause for many years. So senseless sad

I'm sure the media talking heads will start trying to pin blame for this on something: accessibility of guns, violence in movies, video games, terrorists, whatever. But ultimately, it was caused by the actions of the shooter - and it was not the act of a sane person.

Yes, I've been reading about that a lot today too. It's horrid. I can't imagine how sick a person has to be to kill 20 children.

Like P2S said, this was not the act of someone in their right mind. The guy was probably very high off something.

I live 2 towns away. We had a school lock down for 3 hours. I was stuck in MATH CLASS.

I read that there might have been a second shooter.

So am I. And it was because of the massacre. I'm also mad at the guy for killing all those kids, who isn't. I mean, we should take his dead body and let all the families of those dead kids shot it with his own gun.
