saving/exporting projects tips

Hi ! I was wondering... how can I save a project in scratch as a GIF file/sprite on my computer?

I'm trying to make a game  smile

It's impossible to save a scratch project as a .gif. Anyway, I'm just curious, why did you need to export a project as a .gif? You don't have to say, but if you do, I might be able to give you a workaround to what you need.
