Dave Brubeck

I can't believe he passed away. I've always loved his music, especially Blue Rondo. I have memories of my dad driving me to a grocery store and playing Take Five at full blast. *sigh*  sad  Discuss (praise!) his music here.

Re: Dave Brubeck

I'm rather surprised that you — who seem to be a kid who listens to classical music while he solves quadratic equations — appreciate the jazz. Color me impressed.

Re: Dave Brubeck

Yeah, I get that a lot (maybe it's my general attitude towards life). Believe it or not, I also like some rock too (Pink Floyd, mainly).  smile

EDIT: That's not to say that I don't like classical; I love it!  smile  The music I can't stand is the overrated modern Justin Bieber pop stuff that everyone's gaga over. Blech. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, I suppose.  hmm

is it really such a bad thing to die expecting something

Aw, I'm sad to hear that. I haven't heard too much of his stuff but what I've heard has been excellent.
