In scratch 1.3, all the text suddenly dissapears from time to time. Wether it's on a sprite, or the blocks, it's gone! I have it caught on camera! see my stuff!

I had the problem too.
Try these things to fix it:
Open Presentation Mode, and close it again.
Click on the Language button (the empty one) and select another language. Now set it back to English.
Click edit on all costumes, and click ok when the paint editor shows up.
Maybe A Scratch Team member can say what the problem is exactly...

Here's the link to your project showing the glitch

I've had the Quit box do that a number of times (once yesterday in fact). but I never noticed the other text going away...I'll have to pay better attention next time.
I've reported the Quit box problem to the Scratch Team and they are looking into it.

Hi spidey2000, JSO and Paddle2See,
when I was trying to reproduce the "disappearing text symptom" under XP and Vista I got an error message before saying that "Squeak was low on memory". When I chose "Proceed" the symptom appeared. When I chose "Abort", however, it did not. I'm curious if any of you also saw that pink "Squeak is low on memory" box in correlation with disappearing text?

I have not seen any pink "low on memory" boxes.
There where a few ghosted sprites (which could take up some memory) but I don't think it matters.
But in my case, the Quit dialog box looked just fine...
I had this problem on XP.
It seems like spidey2000 had two problems at once
EDIT: At least, it does not seems to be related to a lot of ghosted sprites
