BYOB Question

I hope this is the right forum. Anyway, I have one last question. I know how to use BYOB to convert a project to exe, but when you play that game in exe format, close the game, and open it up again, will the variables (like high scores) stay the same or go back to the number they were set as when they were compiled?

Re: BYOB Question

This is not really the right forum
I dont think it works like that - i think it doesn't save the game.

Re: BYOB Question

I don't know the first thing about BYOB, but I do know that this belongs in Things I'm Making and Creating.  wink

No, it doesn't. This is about a Scratch mod, which would go into advanced topics (since right under it it says that you should discuss scratch mods there.)

Re: BYOB Question

About the OP question; Sadly, BYOB doesn't have this feature. But Scratch 2.0 will!  smile

I'm back.
Maybe.

Re: BYOB Question

I'm not entirely sure how, but maybe you could try using mesh to store the variables. You could make it so the game would store the variables on the server's list while quitting, then have it take back the variables when it is done.  hmm
