I prefer chrome after Firefox though, but Firefox has better plugins/addons, UI, and features. Chrome is faster and more secure than ie, and I don't like the safari layout AT ALL, and it's slower than chrome and Firefox. Id say Firefox, then chrome, then ie and safari

I like it, I just prefer Chrome. Although sometimes I do have problems on the Scratch website with Google Chrome.

That was what people on reddit call a "pun thread"

I love Firefox. We were joking about the misspelling.

Ask any web developer. They'll tell you IE is a pain to try and compensate for in their web design.

Ask any casual web user. They'll tell you IE is slow as anything.

Ask any old time PC user. They'll tell you IE not only gives you viruses, but itself is a virus.

Ask any Mac user. They'll tell you that they're glad IE no longer ships with OSX.

Ask anyone. They'll tell you IE is the worst browser ever...

Re: Google Chrome

My experiences with:
Firefox: Junk. Crashes all the time. SOOOOO slow, too many addons with viruses, and the UI is terrible.
Chrome: Nice, but slow with a lot of addons. It looks appealing but is too simplified for the average user.
Safari: Junk on the PC. On the Mac, still a peice of junk. WHENEVER I GET A SECURITY CERTIFICATE ERROR, IT WILL NOT LET ME DO ANYTHING UNTIL I CLICK CANCEL OR CONTINUE OR ANYTHING. IT IS SO ANNOYING!!!!
Opera: Actually a good browser that nobody pays attention to. My main browser, after IE.
Internet Explorer: Least interruptive browser ever. Greatest UI ever. No interuptions, fast, just plain awesome.

wat? Why would Microsoft IE ever ship with OSX?

I use the open-source Chromium, which for some reason seems faster than Chrome, even though the latter is based in it. Perfectly compatible with all Chrome extensions, too.

Both Chrome and Chromium are awesome web browsers c:

Perhaps the newest IE10 is better, but if you ever create a website of any type I'm sure you'll appreciate the compatibility and rendering issues in IE6.

IE6? Really? If you look at http://www.ie6countdown.com, you will see that 0.4% of America uses IE6. I see what you did there, but 9 and 10 are still the best.

It was back in the days when everyone (pretty much) used either IE or Netscape Navigator. Apple introduced their browser Safari in 2003, and axed IE for Mac, though I think it was still available as a free download for a while after that.

No, it really depends what computer you use, and what kind of internet you have. IE lags my computer a ton, there's no way I can classify it as "fast".

Any browser will give you viruses. The lack of Norton 2013 will also contribute to that  smile

norton is bad antivirus
but ie let's viruses download themselves (just ask my friend; he never downloaded anything untrustworthy and got a worm and 3 Trojans using it).

other browsers don't let things download themselves without your permission
