I mostly use google Chrome but sometimes am forced to use Fire Fox. I think Chrome is Safe, and is EXTREMELY fast. I would have to say Explorer is the slowest, then Firefox, then Safari, then Chrome by a long shot! Discuss Freely about chrome!

I find it stupidly annoying how it loads "about:blank" when I click on the link then after a while it gives me the URL which I wanted to copy and give to a friend, I know there's other ways to do it but it shouldn't load about:blank so much.

What you're saying is that you don't like it because you have a slow internet connection? Or because left clicking on links takes you to the address instead of copying them to the clipboard?

No, I can copy the address manually, I know that, but seeming that unlike Firefox it doesn't show the URL you're loading but "about:blank"
My internet speed is 60mbp/s, if that's not enough to load 2MB of data within a second then I have no understanding of Chrome.

Firefox has more features, but Chrome is slightly faster. I also like their process based approach.
But overall, FF wins.

Chrome is amazing, I use it if I'm not on my iPad. Mainly because I've added a truckload of extensions and apps.

Chrome isn't intended to have a lot of features—it's intended to be a sort of "shell" for the web. It's faster because there are less features (along with other reasons, of course).

Hey, please make another thread for a debate on this, but this is to talk about Chrome not which one is better and why.

You're not going to be able to have a chat about Chrome without arguments, and even if you can make it so nobody argues there's really nothing to talk about on the subject of Chrome.

Well have fun with the dying thread then.

Chrome is a great browser, I like it's process based approach (as mentioned earlier in this thread) and it's extensibility - plugins can do pretty much anything. It's a CPU hog however, and that is never good.

I love chrome.
I used to use Firefox, though.
IE just needs to not exist anymore.

I love how Chrome doesn't crash when one tab or plugin crashes. I also like the speed and simplicity. Pre-rendering is good too.

It's good on fast machines, but on slower machines, it uses a ton of memory and cpu.

My Chrome is packed full of extensions and apps, that's why my firewall says it's using a high amount of CPU - but I don't see any performance difference.

I've used Chrome before, but I didn't like it because I was so used to the IE9 interface. Also, if you have a fast internet connection, IE9 is actually pretty fast. But I doubt everyone can afford a 100MB connection or better...
