how do I make a mod produce a different file to scratch?

^^
So If I want my mod to make *.mscript files (it is called martiscript) how do I do it?
I am using the scratch 1.4 Gnu public licence 2.0 licensed  source code.
How would I do It?

Re: how do I make a mod produce a different file to scratch?

you change it in the system browser. got to the system browser -> Scratch-Dialogs -> ScratchFileChooserDialog -> --all-- -> createScratchFileChooserFor -> change scratch to martiscript and change sb to mscript, its some where there then go to ScratchFilePicker -> --all-- -> projectFetcher -> change .scratch to .martiscript  and I think thats it but don't take my word just check everywhere for sb and change it to mscript.

Hm... Start over from the beginning. This time, only change the .sb part (be ready to start over yet again if you try this, I'm just making leaps of (il)logic here).
