i was just wondering some things about scratch
2.0,
1: is there an actual release date yet?
2: will there be people to help us learn how to use the new interface?
3: will you be able to use the paint feature on sprites instead of just the background?
4: will there be a button on the website to take you to popular categories?

Sure, I'll try to answer these since I'm an alpha tester!
1) Nope, but it's coming...
2) Yeah, we'll be happy to help, but really, it'll just take practice. The Scratch community will learn extra fast because we're a try and fail, then try and succeed kinda place.
3) Not sure what you mean, but yes, you can draw your sprites.
4) what do you mean by categories?

I think he means project tags.

1. No release date yet! But we're planning on announcing the timetable in December.
2. The current testers will hopefully give everyone a hand!
3. Yeah, totally!
4. There'll be an explore page that'll help you find stuff tagged a certain way, so yeah! But we're still working on that one.

Could u please add to scratch 2.0 bock for creating files (just like panther)?
Of course it would be even greater to save not only to txt but also to other formats, just like css, xml etc..
Thank u
That would probably be too advanced for Scratch. Also, since it will be entirely online, the block wouldn't really be much use anyway.
