Had a student make an animated story with one sprite doing the walking and talking. That sprite developed a "twin". A copy of the sprite appeared on her project. The rogue sprite is stuck; we can't drag it away, we can't write a script for it (because it really doesn't show as a legitimate sprite), we can't erase it. It is NOT part of the background. It's like a ghost that won't disappear. Any idea what might have happened?

this sprite could be the herobrine's cousin. this is bad. someone has to kill it. i'll do it. show me the project! stand back. this could be risky. now send me in the system. i'm serious. now lets do this!

Some people are active when it comes to making projects, but not on the forums.
